10 tips for a balanced diet!

Our diet affects our health and physical condition by 50%. So we need to pay maximum attention to what kind of food we choose to eat. Try these 10 tips and you will soon feel better and more energetic.

Regular meals – The correct timing for meals during the day is breakfast, snack, lunch, second snack and dinner, i.e. we eat 5 times a day.

Drink water regularly – Ideally at least 2 liters a day and avoid sugary drinks and excessive coffee consumption.

Prefer whole meal bread – Compared to white bread, whole meal bread also contains cereal bran, which means more fiber.

Eat more fruits and vegetables – They provide vitamins and minerals, keep us in shape and make us feel healthy.

Use less salt – Too much salt in our diet causes cardiovascular problems. When you start consuming less salt, the food may look less tasty at first but you will soon get used to the change.

Use less sugar – Coffee or tea without sugar is something you get used to quickly. When you are in the mood for something sweet, try some fruits.

Prefer high quality fats – Reduce your intake of animal fats and replace them with vegetable fats (especially olive oil), nuts and fish. Consuming the right fats can positively affect your weight and the amount of harmful cholesterol in your blood.

Choose a rich and high quality diet – Various and good food are the foundation of everything. The variety of food brings a balanced intake of nutrients and facilitates the observance of the rules of good nutrition.

Limit alcohol consumption to minimum – Drink alcohol only exceptionally and in small amounts.

Quit smoking – This means both active and passive smoking.
